5 tips for hair care on summer vacation

The anticipation is increasing, the vacation is approaching! For your hair, this may mean more sun, chlorine and salty sea water. Here are a few tips to ensure it survives the strain well:

Cut

Remove any split ends from your hair and trim the ends a little. Freshly cut hair can better defend itself against sun, salt and sand.

Protect

Treat your hair to some UV protection. A nice sun hat or a headscarf is worth it - also to protect your sensitive scalp.

Wash

After a swim in the sea or pool, washing with fresh, clean water is particularly good! Rinse out sand, chlorine, algae, etc. thoroughly. Best with a particularly nourishing, moisturizing shampoo.

Maintain

A little more conditioner when washing, care spray, a hair treatment if necessary... Have a little extra wellness for your hair in your luggage. They will thank you.

To dye

It's best to color your hair after your vacation. The sun and all the water mean that the color doesn't last as long as usual - and it also fades more quickly.

Dye your hair at home? It's actually not that difficult to dye your hair yourself. The most important thing is to use the right hair color. This is quick and easy with our online color finder. Give it a try.

How about a little foot bath while you color your hair? While you let the color work into your hair, give your feet a Listerine bath - the ultimate pedicure hack! Mix equal proportions of Listerine, vinegar, and water and soak your feet in it for about 15 minutes. You'll be amazed at how soft your feet will be afterwards!
