Professional tips for coloring hair

We have picked out a few tips and tricks so that coloring your hair will be a pleasure!

1) No hair treatments before coloring

Avoid using hair treatments for a few days before coloring. They seal the hair shaft and make it harder for the color to penetrate. The fatty film on the scalp protects it from the color.

2) enough hair color over the offspring

First, comb your hair well and part it in the middle from the level of your nose to the nape of your neck. Then protect yourself with the included gloves. Apply your desired color evenly over the top of your head, making sure that you only apply the color paste to your offspring. When coloring your hair, you should make sure that you apply enough hair color to the offspring so that all the hair is colored evenly. Once the hair color has been applied all over the hairline, leave it on for 30 minutes.

3) Prevent heat build-up

As protection, if you want to sit on the sofa and read a book during this time, there is a shower cap in your Mia Lou Box. Put this on and make sure that you let air through every now and then so that there is no build-up of heat. After 30 minutes of exposure time, you can rinse the hair color.

4) Use a shampoo for color-treated hair

Emulsify the hair color well with a little water until the coloring foams. You can then rinse your hair and wash it as usual. I need a shampoo for colored hair. This shampoo protects your hair from fading and keeps its color longer. In our box you get Mia Lou's nourishing, restructuring shampoo and gentle conditioner with linseed and lime.
