Dye gray hair blonde - this is how it works!
August 14, 2017
Especially if you already have a lot of - or only - gray hair, the roots look very shiny and need to be carefully colored. Many dyes fail at the task. But don't panic - we have the right thing for you!
For gray hair we recommend shades 9.0 and 9.1.
What is the difference between 9.0 and 9.1?
Coloring a gray root:
- Make sure that you apply the colorant exactly to the regrown hair.
- It is imperative that the hairline be covered with enough color. We recommend applying two coats so that all hair accepts the color reliably and is colored evenly.
- The exposure time for both shades is between 40 and 50 minutes, as they have both brightening and coloring properties. You lighten the still naturally pigmented hair and color it with shade 9.0 or 9.1. The gray hair, on the other hand, is newly pigmented.
