Mix hair colors with red/gold/copper tone yourself for experts

For many people, a neutral brown or dark blonde hair color is boring for a long time.

But you can mix your own hair color yourself. Please pay attention to the following points so that your color result corresponds to your desired tone.

Color the roots

You can mix your own personal hair color, adapted to your hair length, such as Oro Light Brown – 6.3 and Osmio Light Brown – 6.35. However, if you have 50% gray, we recommend mixing the corresponding base tone with Bario Light Brown – 6.0.

If you have more than 50% gray, make sure that you mix the colors as follows. See the example below.

If you mix the same amount of hair color with gold tone / red tone / copper tone to the base colors, your hairline will be too bright, otherwise the gray hair will only take on the nuances.

Recipe for each color selection

1. Choose your base tone, e.g. 6.0
2. Choose your color character e.g. 6.3
3. Mix 30g base clay with 15g color character + 45g oxidizer in a plastic bowl.
4. Only color the regrown hairline with a brush.
5. Leave the hair color on for 30 minutes as usual.
   
   But if you have 50% - 100% gray content, I recommend extending the exposure time by up to 10 minutes so that the gray hair has enough time to absorb the color and cover it completely.
   
   
6. Rinse and wash your hair with the included care products from Mia Lou.
