Unfortunately, you can't cover gray hair with a pure tint! Tints only adhere to the surface of the hair. This means that the tint does not penetrate the interior of the hair like permanent hair color and no dyes are produced. But there are very good intensive tints. These last about 10 weeks and then wash out again. This means you can cover up to 60% of the white content.
The hair only looks gray because there is still natural hair in between and the hair is mottled. In reality they are white.
White hair has its own personality - and it's usually uncooperative. The texture can be coarse, stubborn and unruly, making it resistant to hair color.
